Georgetown, Guyana - The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) Under-15 Inter-Zone competition will bowl off on Wednesday at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) and Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) grounds in Georgetown.
So far, the DCB is in possession of three of the four teams that will compete for top honours. The Georgetown team was slated to be selected last evening.
The other three zones are East Coast Demerara, East Bank Demerara and West Demerara. Below are the teams.
East Coast Demerara: Bhashkar Yadram (captain), Rovin Ramsaroop (vice-captain), Gopaul Applesammy, Vishal Roopchand, Ramdeo Basdeo, Mohamed Hussain, Compton James, Shaquelle King, Marc Mahase, Akash Narine, Travet Sheopersaud and Sewnarine Sukhai. Manager is Gavin Moriah and Coach is Latchman Yadram.
East Bank Demerara: Sagar Hiathiramani, Bhojnarine Singh, Mark Ramsammy, Nazim Esau, Paul Thomas, Ricky Dass, Ronaldo Jaisingh, Anthony Ontonio, Christopher Hamilton, Devon Allen, Daniel Scott, Akeem Bahoney, Raule Douglas, Joshua Singh and Takudyal Boodhoo. Manager is D Debidial.
West Demerara: Chukiram Outar (captain), Ganesh Jailall (vice-captain), Troy Persaud, Kumar Ramlakan, Parmanand Rambarak, Navindra Persaud, Ahamad Sattuar, Rajesh Bhoodram, Sayrendra Pooran, Retesh Samaroo, Joshua Rahaman, Lakram Haimkarran, Daneshwar Kowlessar, Aftab Basdeo and Shem Khan. Sudesh Persaud is Manager.
In the opening round on Wednesday, East Coast will take on East Bank at GCC and Georgetown and West Demerara will clash at DCC.
