Georgetown, Guyana - The inaugural Burnham Memorial Softball 10/10 Knockout Tournament will culminate on Sunday at the Education Ministry Ground.
However, action in the tournament will continue today at the said venue from 09:00h.
Adelphi will play the winner of the West Demerara zone (Speed Boat or Wolf’s Warriors), while the Lower East Coast winner (Better Hope or Success Warriors) will face Regal, Herstelling.
The winner of the South Star of Linden and Adventure of Essequibo Coast game will challenge De Hoop Sports Club.
The winner of the first game will take on the victors of game four while game two champions will play game three winners in the semi-finals the following day, as softball cricket makes a grand return to the Education Ministry Ground. The top two teams will then battle in the grand finale.
The competition is being organised by the People’s National Congress Reform in collaboration with the Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc, and is being played in observance of the 30th death anniversary of the late President of Guyana, LFS Burnham.
