Georgetown, Guyana - Following are the points’ standings after last weekend matches in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) tournaments were rained out without a ball being bowled.
Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) are heading the table in the Hadi’s World City Mall Inc first division two-day tournament with 132 points from seven games followed by Transport Sports Club (TSC) on 93 points after eight matches, Everest with 85 from seven, Malteenoes SC 81 (MSC), Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) 80, Police 61, GNIC 60 each from five games, Guyana Defense Force (GDF) 53 from four and Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) 47 from five.
TSC are atop of zone A with 60 points after three games in the New Building Society 40-over second division competition, Everest occupy the second position on 40 points from two games while GNIC are in third place with 34 from three followed by Ace Warriors on 32 from three, GCC 30, GDF 25 from two apiece and Third Class five from one.
Muslim Youth Organisation and University of Guyana are joint leaders in zone B on 68 points from five games each followed by MSC on 57 after six matches, GYO 44 from four, Sophia 40 from five, DCC 37 from two, Diplomats 12 from three and St. Stanislaus five from one.
GYO head the Banks Malta Supreme U-13 competition with 85 points, Everest are in second place with 76 followed by TSC on 70, DCC 68, Bel Air 35, Diplomats 34 all from six games, GCC 13 and MSC six both from five matches.
